Two representatives from SGA members were selected by the United Nations to participate in two sessions of the HLPF:
Mr. Bruce Frankel, Pass It On Network, as a discussant in the session “Acting at local level”, 6 July from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST.
Dr. Robin Fenley, International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, as a discussant in the session “Vision of civil society: leaving no one behind in recovering better”, 12 July from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST.

Representatives from three SGA members participated in the Expert Group Meetings convened during the week 17-21 May 2021 to discuss each of the SDGs selected for review:
Dr. Simone Cernesi, International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care, for SDG 3 (health).
Dr. Rosy Pereya, International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, for SDG16 (inclusive societies).
Dr. Jan Hively, Pass It On Network, for SDG 17 (strengthening means of implementation).
Dr. Jane Barratt, Secretary-General of the International Federation on Ageing was invited by the United Nations/Department of Economic and Social Affairs to moderate the thematic session “Ensuring that no one is left behind” on 6 July 2021 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. EDT.
Dr. Kiran Rabheru, ILC-Canada, was selected by the United Nations to be a panelist in the thematic session organized by the Major Groups and Other Stakeholders on 9 July, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT – “Vision and priorities of civil society, the private sector and other major groups and stakeholder: realizing the SDGs during the COVID-19 recovery”.
