SGA members are non-governmental organizations working in the field of ageing, at the global, regional and national levels. Members are engaged in implementing the 2030 Agenda and are expected to contribute to the global work with respect to international and intergovernmental deliberations and negotiations at the global level, participate in sub-committees and task forces, and provide appropriate expertise. Members are also expected to promote the work of the SGA to their members and act as a conduit for disseminating and receiving information on implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
