Benefits of getting involved:
The Millennium Development Goals were silent on issue of ageing. To fulfil the promise of Agenda 2030 all countries in all regions must redouble efforts to find ways to include and to respond effectively to the rights and interests of older persons. All people count and all people should be counted. For these reasons, it is imperative that we continue to grow our network and fight for the inclusion and recognition of older persons in the international agenda.
